Key Responsibilities1. Transport Coordination

  • Plan and coordinate daily vehicle deployment for material, manpower, and goods movement.
  • Prepare trip sheets, logbooks, and route plans.
  • Track vehicle movement through GPS and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain vehicle documents like insurance, permit, fitness, PUC, etc.

2. Fleet Maintenance Support

  • Assist in identifying mechanical issues in different types of vehicles (LMV/HMV).
  • Coordinate with workshops, mechanics, and service centers for repairs.
  • Maintain records of preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Check repair estimates and verify spare parts used.

3. Logistics & Documentation

  • Prepare dispatch documents, delivery challans, and GRN.
  • Maintain MIS reports on vehicle usage, fuel consumption, breakdowns, etc.
  • Update daily transport reports and cost sheets.

4. Driver & Staff Coordination

  • Assign duties to drivers and helpers.
  • Maintain attendance, duty roster, and discipline.
  • Conduct basic training on safety and vehicle handling.

5. Fuel & Expense Control

  • Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and refilling records.
  • Control unnecessary trips and reduce operational costs.

6. Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure vehicle and driver compliance with Motor Vehicle Act.
  • Support safety checks for loading/unloading operations.

Required Skills & QualificationsQualification

  • Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or Logistics (preferred).

Experience

  • 2–6 years of experience in transport/logistics operations.
  • Basic to good knowledge of repairing LMV, HMV, trucks, etc.

Skills

  • Understanding of vehicle mechanical systems
  • Transport documentation & MIS reporting
  • Route planning & vehicle scheduling
  • MS Excel (VLOOKUP, basic MIS)
  • Good communication and coordination
  • Problem-solving and multitasking ability

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
