Exhibit Designer (Hybrid/Remote)
Founded in 1982, World Class Displays is a growing custom exhibit house that specializes in the build of trade show exhibits. We are committed to providing an exceptional user experience with our functional and creative designs using a proven model that will help make our clients successful. We are looking for an outgoing and highly motivated person to work in a 3D environment. This person will be responsible for the design of creative and custom exhibit solutions based on client provided criteria. Our designs are always a collaboration of ideas from the client, project managers, engineers, salespeople and designers.
- Candidates with direct 3D design experience in the Exhibit and/or the Trade Show industries are eligible for fully remote status.
Responsibilities include:
- Key member of the sales team, working directly with the client to understand the client’s brand, products, needs and objectives.
- Participating in, and potentially managing, the entire design process, from initial research through final design.
- Clearly and professionally present ideas and designs to partners and client during design meetings via face-to-face, phone, and email.
- Working collaboratively with other departments and vendors to ensure all design solutions align with estimating, production & operational capabilities.
- Participating in professional development opportunities to stay informed of trends in the exhibit and design fields, learn from and share knowledge with colleagues, and build relevant partnerships.
What you need:
- A cover letter and portfolio showcasing your work and interest in working with us!
- Experience with Sketchup required.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
- Strong competency to work collaboratively on a team, assume responsibilities, prioritize and meet multiple project deadlines.
- Be quick and precise with project assignments.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to take direction and feedback from client, colleagues and supervisors and synthesize the information into clear, concise renderings.
