Exhibit Designer/Interior designer

Job Summary
We are seeking an innovative Exhibit Designer/Interior Designer to craft captivating environments that inspire and engage. In this role, you will transform conceptual ideas into compelling visual narratives, designing immersive exhibits and interior spaces that reflect brand identity and storytelling. Your creativity and technical expertise will drive the successful realization of diverse design projects, from initial concept development to installation. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design concepts for exhibits and interior spaces using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure designs align with project goals, budgets, and timelines.
• Create accurate drafting and technical drawings, incorporating color theory, lighting design, and spatial planning principles.
• Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, lighting fixtures, and furnishings to achieve aesthetic appeal and functional excellence.
• Prepare comprehensive presentation materials that effectively communicate design concepts and project progress.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in exhibit design or interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing creative solutions and technical proficiency.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D (3ds <PERSON>), Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
• Solid understanding of drafting standards, CAD workflows, color theory, lighting strategies and basic construction documentation.
• Familiarity with lighting design principles to enhance spatial ambiance.
• Some experience in renovation or remodeling projects helpful.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating across teams and presenting ideas clearly.
• Ability to travel for project meetings with other team members and/or project manager. Not often but typically one day trips and on occasion out of state overnight trips. All essential travel costs are paid by company.

Pay: $41,600.00 - $48,000.00 per year
