exhibition booth expert carpenters

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Exhibition Booth Expert Carpenter to join our team. This role involves designing, building, assembling, and dismantling custom exhibition booths and displays for trade shows, expos, and events. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills, experience with exhibition booth construction, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret booth design blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Create custom exhibition booths using a variety of materials, including wood, laminate, and metal.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and event coordinators to ensure accurate booth execution.
• Cut, shape, and assemble booth components using carpentry tools and machinery.
• Install lighting, graphics, shelving, and AV components as required.
• Ensure all builds are structurally sound, safe, and meet client expectations.
• Perform on-site booth installation and dismantling at event locations.
• Repair or adjust components on-site as necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the workshop and on-site.
• Load and unload materials and finished components with care to avoid damage.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter in the exhibition or events industry.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, tools, and construction materials.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed plans.
• Experience with power tools, saws, drills, sanders, and joinery equipment.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and maneuver heavy materials and work long hours.
• Willingness to travel for event setup and takedown.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in exhibition booth construction for international or high-profile events.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and AV system integration.
• Certification in carpentry or relevant vocational training.
• Forklift or heavy equipment certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Workshop environment and on-site at event venues.
• Must be flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• May require national or international travel based on event location.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RO150.000 - RO200.000 per month
