Expanded Dental Assistant

Required duties include:

• Outstanding Customer Service
• Setting up operatories for exams and procedures.
• Escorting patients to the treatment rooms and making them feel comfortable.
• Taking Dental X-Rays
• Writing Clinical Notes
• Preparing and sterilizing instruments, handpieces and other equipment in compliance with OSHA standards and CDC guidelines.
• Monitoring inventory and ordering supplies.
• Various office tasks as directed by the Dentist or Office Manager.

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday 9-6pm
• Friday 9-2pm
• 1 Saturday a Month 9-2pm

License/Certification:

• X-Ray Certification/ Active Indiana Dental Radiographer License (Required)
• Expanded Functions Assistant: 1 Year Preferred
• Prophy & FL Certification
• Graduate of a Dental Assisting Program (Preferred)
• Dentrix Ascend Experience a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $15.00 - $26.00 per hour
