We value trust, respect, teamwork, and growth—and we’re looking for an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive, collaborative team.
Position Overview
As an EDDA at Davis & Parker Family Dental, you will work closely with our doctors and clinical team to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care. This role is ideal for someone who is clinically strong, detail-oriented, and enjoys both assisting and expanded duties while maintaining a calm, patient-focused chairside presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting during restorative and surgical procedures
- Performing expanded duties in accordance with Colorado EDDA certification, including but not limited to:
- Placing and removing temporary restorations
- Packing cord
- Placing liners and bases
- Taking impressions and scans
- Polishing restorations as permitted
- Set-up and breakdown of operatories
- Sterilization and infection control following OSHA guidelines
- Taking digital X-rays
- Supporting patient comfort and education during treatment
- Maintaining accurate clinical notes and documentation in Eaglesoft
- Assisting with room turnover and end-of-day duties
- Working collaboratively with assistants, hygienists, and front office staff
Qualifications
- Active Colorado EDDA certification (required)
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
- Experience with digital radiography
- Experience with Eaglesoft preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
