Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to support our team. The position requires strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional dental care to our patients. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for organizing x-rays, dental records and patient charts, and has the opportunity to take on leadership roles, such as assisting with cleanings and restorations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist dentist with procedures that require radiography.
• Prepare patients for dental imaging.
• Assist dentist with procedures that do not require radiography.
• Communicate with patients, dental team members and other staff.
• Maintain equipment; assist with sterilization and cleaning of instruments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Dental radiology (Required)
