Duties

• Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including prosthodontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and general dentistry treatments.
• Take dental X-rays, ensuring proper technique and patient safety in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment.
• Educate patients on dental procedures, oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment care to promote optimal health outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality at all times.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
• Experience in placement of all classes composite fillings.
• Packing cord and making temporary crowns.
• Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques critical for maintaining a safe clinical environment.
• Familiarity with dental assisting best practices across various specialties such as prosthodontics, endodontics, general dentistry, and pediatric dentistry.

Minimum of 2 years placing composite fillings required.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
