We are a small doctor owner practice, with a small team- each one ready to support and uplift each other. For this position, lack of experience can be compensated by someone who has a friendly, jovial, upbeat personality, who really care for people around them, mostly patients and coworkers.

Work-life Balance

We have 4 day work week, focused on giving each team member a work life balance. The hours required for the full-time dental assistant are-

Wednesday and Thursday- 8:30 am to 5 pm

Friday and Saturday - 9:30 am to 6 pm

Saturday is MUST.

Sunday-Monday-Tuesday - OFF

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. We are an Invisalign office with focus on general dentistry and implant surgery. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and the ability to maintain a sterile environment while ensuring patient comfort.

Duties

  • Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
  • Take and develop dental X-rays, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Take photographs, i-tero scans, and provide Invisalign support to patients.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, including patient histories and treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Manage dental equipment and ensure proper sterilization techniques are followed.
  • Utilize dental software such as Epic for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
  • Support the front office with administrative tasks as needed, including appointment scheduling and insurance verification.
  • Stay current with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques to provide optimal support during procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, medical records management, and basic medical coding is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with prosthodontics procedures is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Must be organized, reliable, and possess a positive attitude towards teamwork.
