Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (Private Practice) part to full time

Our growing, multi-location private dental practice is looking to hire an exceptional EFDA Dental Assistant to join our amazing team. This position is for Tuesdays and Wednesdays with the possibility to pick up additional days in our other locations. Our priority is to provide our patients with incredible dental care, customer service, and a positive patient experience. We are looking for self-motivated, multi-tasking, dependable team players with great customer service and communication skills. The applicant must be professional, outgoing, and ready to join a dedicated and fun team!

Job Duties:

• Chairside dental assisting.
• Restorative dentistry including but not limited to fillings, temporaries, impressions,
• Working with dentists who place and restore dental implants
• Manage supplies.
• Ability to follow company standard of care protocols.
• Maintain the highest clinical standards for sterilization and cleanliness.
• Assist doctors in accurate and timely charting of patient records.
• Outstanding chair-side and communication skills.
• Must have current Certifications/Licenses per state guidelines.
• Welcoming patients in a friendly manner
• Creating treatment plans
• Scheduling appointments
• Maintaining and optimizing the schedules
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task while maintaining the highest levels of customer service

Requirements:

• Minimum 1+ years of EFDA experience
• EFDA Certification and Radiography License in good standing with the state of IN
• Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend is helpful but not necessary
• Able to travel to two or more of our locations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
