Expanded Functions Register Dental Assistant

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems
- Perform dental imaging and X-rays
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols

Requirements:

- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in CPR and X-ray technology required
