Duties

• Greet guests with enthusiasm, provide menu recommendations, and answer questions about breakfast offerings and specials.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff.
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation.
• Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction from seating to check presentation.
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations.
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements during busy breakfast hours.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or breakfast service backgrounds.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience in a nightclub or hospitality setting is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order calculations; attention to detail is essential.
