Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees to ensure healthy growth and attractive appearance
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for planting, trimming, aerating, and other landscaping activities
• Maintain lawns through fertilization, watering, aeration, and weed control to promote lush greenery
• Operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows to handle construction projects or seasonal weather challenges
• Install hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds to enhance outdoor aesthetics
• Conduct routine irrigation system checks and repairs to ensure proper watering schedules for all landscaped areas
• Assist with gardening tasks including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while applying horticultural best practices

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping machinery and hand tools
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance procedures
• Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care, pruning, and tree trimming practices
• Ability to operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows safely and efficiently
• Experience with gardening, irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and general construction work preferred
• Strong understanding of landscaping standards alongside excellent attention to detail in maintenance tasks
• Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when necessary
