Experience Medical Assistant/Scribe

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to accurately document patient encounters, ensuring that all relevant medical information is captured in real-time. This role is essential in enhancing the efficiency of clinical operations and improving patient care.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document patient histories, physical examinations, and treatment plans during medical visits.
• Record vital signs and other pertinent clinical information as directed by healthcare providers.
• Assist in the management of electronic health records (EHR) to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with medical staff in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including emergency medicine and medical-surgical units.
• Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and medication administration to ensure precise documentation.
• Support physicians in a Level I Trauma Center environment by providing timely and accurate scribing services.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements regarding patient confidentiality and data security.

Skills

• Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of physiological concepts.
• Experience or knowledge in emergency medicine, outpatient care, and inpatient settings.
• Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and medication administration processes.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy under pressure.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
