Responsibilities
- Provide direct mental health services and support within clients’ homes, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Conduct assessments to identify individual needs, develop personalized care plans, and implement therapeutic strategies aligned with best practices.
- Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety.
- Support clients with behavioral management strategies, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to improve daily functioning and social skills.
- Administer medications accurately following HIPAA guidelines and medical documentation standards, maintaining detailed medical records.
- Collect and analyze data related to client progress, behavior patterns, and treatment outcomes to inform ongoing care adjustments.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, social workers, and healthcare professionals to coordinate services and ensure comprehensive support for each individual.
Skills
- Experience working with children and adolescents facing mental health or developmental challenges.
- Proficiency in crisis intervention, crisis management, and de-escalation techniques to handle emergency situations confidently.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), disabilities, or developmental delays; familiarity with special education principles is a plus.
- Ability to perform vital signs measurement and monitor physical health indicators as part of holistic patient care.
- Strong understanding of social work principles, patient care standards, medical terminology, and medical records management.
- Skilled in intake processes, behavioral health assessments, data collection, and documentation compliance under HIPAA regulations.
- Competence in medication administration procedures while adhering to safety protocols and legal requirements. Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
