Mercedes-Benz of Encino, located in Encino, is looking for an experienced Technician to join our Service Department Team of Technicians. It is a Service Technician’s responsibility to comply with all policies and repair procedures as set forth by MBUSA and TDAG. Customer satisfaction is a result of your personal work habits and ethics and is of the utmost importance as part of your job function. As a Service Technician, the responsibility of customer satisfaction falls into the categories of completing the job correctly, cleanly, honestly, and on time for every service visit.

The Requirements

• 2 - 5 years experience as an Automotive Technician for Mercedes Benz and/or Sprinter
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experienced repair tool and power tool handler

The Work Itself

• Performing all warranty and non-warranty inspections.
• Diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work.
• Maintain a high level of product and technical knowledge and practical experience through the study of technical manuals and bulletins, classroom training, communication with factory service representatives and actual hands-on experience.
• Personally, quality check and/or road test the work performed on every vehicle with a repair.
• Keep shop equipment in safe operating condition. This includes cleaning and returning special tools in good condition.
• Report to management all lot damages and any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
• Maintain work area free from trash, debris, old parts, clutter, spills, or any other unsightly or hazardous materials.
• While working on any car it must be kept clean and protected to the best possible manner, radio stations returned to the original settings.
• Complete all training required by either the Dealership (KPA) or MBUSA in a timely manner.
• Follow all company rules, policies, and guidelines as outlined in the Employee handbook.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
