Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, providing detailed descriptions to enhance guest choices.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest experience.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS operations efficiently, maintaining accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Maintain sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols in food handling and sanitation practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance sales performance.
• Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or cashiering is highly desirable.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
