Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage table turnovers smoothly, bussing tables and assisting with food handling and sanitation protocols
• Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
• Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in busy or fine dining settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing detailed product knowledge
• Familiarity with food safety, sanitation standards, food handling, and basic math for billing accuracy
• Experience with guest services platforms like OpenTable and a background in hospitality or customer relations
• Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation and service flow
