Experience Team Lead – Medical Billing & Authorizations

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead specializing in Medical Billing and Authorizations to oversee and manage our billing operations team. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of US healthcare billing systems, insurance verification, prior authorization processes, claim submission, and denial management.

The Team Lead will be responsible for supervising billing staff, ensuring all claims and authorizations are processed accurately and timely, and maintaining compliance with payer requirements and HIPAA regulations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and supervise the medical billing and authorizations team.
• Review and monitor daily billing and authorization workflows.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in claim submissions and approvals.
• Handle escalations and resolve complex billing or authorization issues.
• Maintain compliance with payer policies and healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate with clients and internal departments for smooth operations.
• Track team performance and prepare regular reports for management.
• Drive process improvement to optimize revenue cycle management (RCM).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in medical billing, with a focus on authorizations.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with EHR/EMR and billing software (e.g., Athena, Kareo, AdvancedMD).
• Sound understanding of US insurance guidelines and RCM process.

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
