EXPERIENCE WELDER

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experience Welder to join our dynamic fabrication and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding operations on various metal components, ensuring all work meets strict quality standards and safety regulations. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of complex projects across construction sites and manufacturing environments. Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <LOCATION> welding techniques on diverse materials such as sheet metal, ductwork, and piping.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding specifications and fabrication requirements.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper fit-up before welding or assembly.
• Execute rigging, pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly tasks as needed for project completion.
• Maintain strict adherence to ASME codes & standards for welding procedures and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites or manufacturing floors to meet project deadlines while upholding safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a welder on construction sites or manufacturing environments with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding processes; experience with <LOCATION> welding is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and plasma cutting equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes including ductwork assembly, pipe threading, and sheet metal work.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to rigging, machining, welding procedures, and ASME codes & standards.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other lifting equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.
