The Job

You'll be installing AC and HVAC systems on high-end residential projects, premium new builds, major renovations, and selected commercial work. From bespoke VRV systems in private homes to being a part of a complete mechanical solution on architect-designed projects.

Because we cover heat pumps, MVHR, and full mechanical systems alongside AC, you'll have steady, varied work all year round - AC and cooling work in summer, ventilation and MVHR the rest of the year.

We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in the quality of their work. Our installations should look as good as they perform. The customers we work with notice the difference between a competent install and a properly engineered one - and that's what they choose Elite for.

This role would suit someone who wants to move beyond standard commercial work into projects where craftsmanship and technical depth are valued. There's also genuine career progression for the right person - we're building out the team and there's room to develop into supervisory or senior engineering roles as we grow.

What You'll Be Doing

• Install a variety of AC and HVAC systems including splits, multi-splits, VRVs, MVHR and ventilation
• Work primarily on high-end residential, premium renovations, and selected commercial projects
• Support the HVAC Manager with project oversight, installation planning, and quality control
• Identify variations, additional works, and improvements - your input matters and gets acted on
• Advise on equipment, materials, and installation decisions
• Take genuine ownership of installation quality - we hold ourselves to a high standard

Working to Standards

• F-Gas certified refrigerant handling
• Following Daikin, Mitsubishi, and other manufacturer specifications properly
• Working safely on site, following health and safety throughout

What You Need As Minimum

• Category 1 F-GAS 2079 certification
• Time-served engineer with broad HVAC and building services experience
• Confident on varied AC and refrigeration systems
• Solid experience installing splits, multi-splits, and VRV systems
• Comfortable with Daikin and Mitsubishi kit
• Strong on pipework, brazing, and pressure testing
• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable working at height and in tight spaces
• Pride in your work and willingness to do the job properly, not just quickly
• Ability to take instruction and work from your own initiative
• Strong communicator (You will need to talk to clients)
• Punctuality
• Ability to work solo or as part of a team

Nice to Have (Not Essential)

• NVQ Level 3 in air conditioning and refrigeration
• Commercial project experience
• Electrical qualifications
• Experience working on premium residential or architect-led projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £45,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
