Position Overview:

We are seeking an Experienced Aircraft Parts Purchasing Technical Buyer to join our dedicated and driven team of aviation professionals. In this critical role, you will handle the procurement of aircraft parts, rotables, consumables, hardware, maintenance services, and supplies to meet our clients’ operational needs. You will be expected to excel in a fast-paced setting, delivering results under tight deadlines while maintaining precision and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source aircraft parts, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) services, and hardware to meet inventory and customer requirements.
• Create and review purchase orders for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with Federal Regulations and company policies.
• Monitor supplier delivery commitments and follow up to ensure timely deliveries.
• Address quality issues related to materials and maintain detailed procurement records.
• Utilize company software to track inventory levels and maintain required stock availability.
• Perform invoice approvals accurately and promptly.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Develop and update procurement processes and purchased item databases.
• Support safety, security, and quality standards.
• Embrace the versatility of startup roles by contributing to various projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 4+ years in aviation parts procurement, preferably in MRO, 121, or 135 environments.
• Aviation maintenance experience is a strong plus.
• Skills:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Functional experience with industry-specific tools, vendor websites, aircraft maintenance manuals, and illustrated parts catalogs.
• Availability: Must be willing to work holidays, nights, and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
