Experienced Audio/Video Account Executive

Jobe Systems is looking for a high-end sales representative / account executive for our Houston region with knowledge and experience in audiovisual products such as Lutron, Sonos, and Savant. AI-driven, agentic homes are the future, and Jobe Systems is leading the way. This experience is required to be selected for an interview.

The Account Executive will develop leads and opportunities that align with Jobe Systems' needs and the caliber of systems we integrate. At the discretion of the management team, leads or projects from existing clients may also be provided.

The Account Executive meets with clients to properly qualify them, conducts site discovery with detailed notes and photos, and communicates the information to the design team, which then uses it to prepare a proposal or presentation. The Account Executive will then present this information, work with the design team to create any necessary revisions, and win the business and the trust of the clients.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate is passionate about the integrated technology industry and enjoys collaborating with clients and industry partners to reach the optimal solution.
  • Must have excellent cross-functional communication, written skills, and oral presentation skills.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and from the office as needed.
  • 5+ years of experience in the high-end residential market.
  • Ability to travel as needed, including having a passport.
  • Display a magnetic and charming personality with a natural ease in social settings.
  • Be an engaging person who lights up any room they walk into and can easily speak with affluent, high-end clientele.
  • Must have prior experience with products and brands such as Savant, Lutron, Sonos, and other residential integrated technology brands.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a business plan to target the ideal customer base and partners.
  • Manage the opportunities pipeline to meet and exceed the monthly and quarterly quotas.
  • Utilize company-provided software platforms to manage your opportunities, articulate the customer needs to the design team, and track activity associated with each opportunity.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and the design team to ensure that the customer’s needs are met and that the solution fits within our vetted and approved designs.
  • Prepare forecasts and summaries as required by management.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert and trusted advisor to our clients and partners.

Jobe Systems is a Houston-based company with offices in Nantucket, Chicago, Vail/Aspen, West Palm Beach, and San Diego, providing the design, installation, and implementation of advanced integrated building systems, including Audio Visual (AV), network security, structured cabling, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), home automation, and lighting systems.

Compensation: $60,000 plus commission
