Experienced Auto Mechanic

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with expertise in various systems. This role requires a keen understanding of mechanical knowledge, automotive electrical systems, and the ability to read schematics. Alignment experience desirable. State Inspector desirable.

Duties

• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on various automotive systems, including power train, electrical systems and AC system.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Utilize schematics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Align vehicles as needed to ensure proper handling and performance.
• Provide tire service, including installation, rotation, and balancing.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and the ability to read schematics is essential.
• Knowledge of tire service techniques is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Valid RI Drivers license required.
• RI Inspectors License desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
