Experienced Auto Mechanic

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled automotive technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, including diagnostics and maintenance of various vehicle systems. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality service while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, state inspections, engine and suspension diagnostics and repair.
• Diagnose and repair automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, suspension, and alignment.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive problems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems and air conditioning systems.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle needs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop environment.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as an automotive mechanic is required; dealership experience is a plus.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Proficient in automotive diagnostics and repair, including knowledge of automotive electrical and air conditioning systems.
• State inspection and emissions licenses required.
• Tire service and wheel alignment experience preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
• Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction and teamwork.
• Strong and efficient work ethic required.
• Must possess own hand tools and be familiar with shop equipment.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
