Experienced Auto Mechanic - Full Time - $30/Hr

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Full-Time Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various automotive systems and be passionate about delivering high-quality service to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
• Wheel alignments
• NYS Inspections
• Oil Changes
• Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
• Ability to perform mechanic duties efficiently
• Maintain and service vehicles to ensure optimal performance

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems
• Experience in powertrain maintenance and repairs
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing transmissions
• Mechanical aptitude for various mechanic tasks
• Ability to estimate repair time accurately
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
• Commitment to maintaining vehicles at peak performance levels
• Minimum of 5-year experience

Shop Schedule:

• Monday-Friday: 8am-6pm
• Saturday: 8am-2pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour
