Experienced Automotive AC Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive air conditioning systems, including refrigerant recharge, compressor replacement, and system leak detection
• Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using schematics, automotive electrical systems knowledge, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately
• Conduct routine maintenance such as coolant & heater flushes, belt, hose, thermostat & water pump replacement, etc.
• Learn to clean, test & repair all types of heat exchangers such as radiators, heater cores, oil coolers, CAC & EGR coolers, etc.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs, welding, and mechanical adjustments while adhering to safety standards
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with quality workmanship

Requirements

• Proven mechanic experience with a focus on automotive AC systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across vehicle maintenance, Heating & cooling issues, AC diagnostics, service & repair
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using schematics and electrical system testing tools
• Experience working on all brands of vehicles is advantageous
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and repair solutions

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
