We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced Automotive Painter to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
• Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and touch-up paint using airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools with precision and consistency
• Perform auto body repair tasks such as dent removal, panel alignment, and welding to restore vehicle integrity before painting
• Utilize buffing machines and polishing compounds to achieve a smooth, glossy finish that meets high standards of quality
• Conduct auto glass replacements and repairs as needed during the painting process
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including color matching, paint types used, and repair procedures
• Assist with auto restoration projects by providing expert painting skills and mechanical knowledge when required

Skills

• Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body painting and repair
• Strong welding skills for panel repairs and structural modifications
• Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems to support auto maintenance and restoration tasks
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as airless paint sprayers and buffing machines
• Knowledge of auto estimating software for accurate job costing and customer communication
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or materials
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about work progress and expectations
• Experience with auto glass installation, detailing, and auto restoration projects is highly desirable
• Familiarity with auto body repair techniques including auto painting, sanding, priming, and finishing processes
