Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex automotive issues using advanced diagnostic equipment, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Perform repairs on various systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and fluid services.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other specialized tools to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
• Interpret vehicle schematics and technical diagrams to accurately identify root causes of problems.
• Repair or replace components on All US Domestic and Asian makes with precision and attention to detail.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and quality control procedures.
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers or service advisors.

Qualifications

• Proven service shop experience as an automotive technician.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines.
• Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics interpretation.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair machinery.
• Familiarity with wheel alignment procedures and auto estimating software is preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and ability to troubleshoot complex electronic issues.
• Customer service skills with a focus on delivering professional and friendly interactions.
• Valid technician certification(s) or ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) credentials are highly desirable.

Pay: From $45.00 per hour
