We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaves our service bay in optimal condition, providing our customers with safe, reliable transportation. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components, including powertrain systems, transmissions, diesel engines, gasoline engines etc.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently.
• Complete vehicle inspections, alignments, wheel balancing, and steering repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems on GM vehicles and other makes.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
• Assist with auto estimating and work order documentation to ensure accurate billing and record keeping.

Requirements

• Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in an automotive repair environment.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics techniques.
• Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, transmission repairs, diesel engine repair, and vehicle maintenance.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools.
• Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred; experience with auto estimating software is a plus.
• Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately.
• Service technician experience that demonstrates a commitment to quality work and customer satisfaction.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service; ability to explain technical issues clearly.
