Experienced Barista

We're looking for a skilled, confident barista to join the team at The Power Plant. Someone who takes their craft seriously, moves well behind a bar, and can hold their own during a rush while still making every guest feel taken care of.

What you'll do

• Prepare espresso drinks, drip coffee, and other beverages with consistency and care
• Provide attentive, friendly service in a fast-paced environment
• Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized throughout your shift
• Handle cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately
• Collaborate with the team to support smooth daily operations
• Represent The Power Plant with professionalism during events and busy periods

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in coffee, restaurant, or bar service
• Solid espresso technique and familiarity with manual brewing methods
• Ability to work efficiently and stay calm under pressure
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Reliability — we need someone available at least 4 days per week
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and during events as needed

Nice to have

• Experience in a specialty coffee or hospitality-forward environment
• Comfort working events, pop-ups, or open-format service settings
• Food handler's certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

Pay: From $16.90 per hour
