Experienced Barista

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your role will involve engaging with customers, taking orders, and ensuring that every drink is crafted to perfection. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a love for coffee and customer service, this position is perfect for you. Very busy stand = great tips.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
• Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in food preparation areas.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies.
• Engage with customers to promote new products and upsell menu items effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
• 6 months of Fast paced drive thru experience.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and beverage crafting.
• A valid Food Handlers permit
• A valid driver's license.
• Problem-solving capabilities.
• Independence and initiative.
• The ability to remember repeat customers' orders.
• Proficiency in using espresso machines and other coffee equipment.

Pay: $17.13 - $40.00 per hour
