Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems such as Toast POS accurately and efficiently
• Create a Unique Coffee and Coffee Shakes Menu
• Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, with attention to detail
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards through proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation practices
• Assist in food preparation and serving of light snacks or baked goods to enhance the guest experience
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth café operations

Requirements

• Proven barista experience with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage customization
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks seamlessly during peak hours
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling, and basic math for transactions and retail math calculations
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly around the café, and lift moderate loads when needed
• Previous experience in the food industry or retail math is highly desirable
