Experienced Barista

Overview

Brewshot Café is looking for an experienced barista to join our growing team. We’re seeking someone who is dependable, hospitality-driven, and confident working in a fast-paced specialty coffee environment.

The ideal candidate has previous espresso bar experience, enjoys providing exceptional customer service, and can adapt to a variety of responsibilities throughout the café. While we’ll provide training on our recipes, workflow, and standards, we’re looking for someone who already has a solid foundation in coffee preparation and café operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso beverages, matcha, tea, and seasonal menu offerings according to café recipes and quality standards.
• Deliver friendly, attentive customer service while creating a welcoming guest experience.
• Assist with brunch and light food preparation during service.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels throughout each shift.
• Complete opening and closing duties while following established operational procedures.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, food presentation, and overall café standards.
• Communicate inventory shortages, equipment concerns, and operational issues to management.
• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain an efficient workflow during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of barista or specialty coffee experience preferred.
• Experience operating a commercial espresso machine and steaming milk.
• Weekend availability required; morning availability preferred.
• Strong hospitality, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high operational standards.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing the physical demands of café work.
• Passion for specialty coffee and continuous learning.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
