EXPERIENCED Barista: PLEASE READ POST BEFORE APPLYING!

Job Overview
We are seeking an outgoing, reliable, fashionable and EXPERIENCED (2+ years required) Barista to join our pretty cafe in Costa Mesa. We are located in an high end hair salon, so ideal candidate must love the beauty & fashion industry as well. We strive on excellent customer service, and maintaining strong relationships with our regulars and new coffee lovers. We also have high end retail so customer service is a non-negotiable.

This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to upholding food safety standards while driving sales and enhancing the customer experience.

Duties

• Maintain a happy, clean and welcoming work environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
• Help manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Be able to handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain satisfaction with the team
• Know how to use Square POS system for processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with health standards.
• Make every person who walks up to one of our 2 counters feel special everyday
• MUST love social media as we have a Tik Tok and want our team to all be a part of it.

Skills

• Proficient in food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Strong understanding coffee, the art behind it. Latte art a must!
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Background in food service or the food/barista industry is A MUST, we will not hire anyone without barista experience.
• Ability to operate SQUARE accurately and transactions responsibly
• Exceptional customer service skills to foster positive relationships with patrons.
• Love social media/tik tok as much as we do to help grow our little cafe!
