Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, efficiently processing transactions while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations to enhance their experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Assist with catering events, banquets, or nightclub service as needed, ensuring smooth operations during high-volume periods.
  • Handle cashing out guests accurately through cash handling procedures and retail math principles to ensure proper billing.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a bartender or server in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele and handle challenging situations gracefully.
  • Solid understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques.
  • Effective time management skills to balance multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining quality service.
  • Familiarity with sales techniques to upsell menu items confidently and increase revenue opportunities.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing processes. Pay: $2.13 - $3.50 per hour
