Experienced Beer/Wine Tender

Responsibilities

• Serve beer, wine, and other beverages with professionalism and enthusiasm, ensuring accurate pouring and presentation
• Assist guests in selecting beverages by providing detailed descriptions and pairing suggestions based on their preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and beverage stations
• Process transactions efficiently using POS systems, handling cash and credit card payments accurately
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent time management skills during busy service periods
• Follow all food safety and food handling protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender or beverage server in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment
• Knowledge of beer styles and wine varieties
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally
• Experience working in fine dining establishments or banquet settings is highly desirable
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, retail math, and drink measurements accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry
