Duties

• Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on bicycles, including brake repair, suspension tuning, drivetrain adjustments, and wheel truing.
• Assemble new bikes from frames and components, ensuring precise fit and finish.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete mechanical tasks.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance checks to identify issues proactively and recommend solutions.
• Provide expert advice on bike features, repairs, and accessories to customers, enhancing their cycling experience.
• Assist in retail sales by demonstrating products, processing transactions, and managing inventory.
• Lift heavy bikes and parts regularly while maintaining safety standards during all tasks.

Skills

• Proven service technician experience with bicycles or similar vehicles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of bike systems, suspension setups, brake mechanisms, and assembly processes.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized cycling equipment.
• Experience in vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Retail sales experience combined with retail math skills for accurate transactions.
• Physical ability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing detailed repairs in a busy environment.
