About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Account Manager who wants more than just a seat at a desk. This bookkeeping role is for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys working directly with clients, and values flexibility without sacrificing quality. Location: Springfield, TN

Schedule: Flexible / Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage
• Perform bank, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with GAAP standards
• Prepare and process journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll transactions
• Generate financial reports including income statements, cash flow statements, and budget analyses
• Maintain accurate and organized bookkeeping records to support tax preparation and compliance
• Communicate directly with clients on their books and financial needs
• Help us continue to build and refine systems as we grow

Qualifications

• QuickBooks proficiency required
• Experience with Xero, Sage, or Quicken a plus
• Strong understanding of GAAP, double-entry bookkeeping, debits and credits, and account analysis
• Proven experience with bank, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliation
• Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
• Comfortable managing multiple client accounts independently
• Confident communicating directly with clients
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
