Ottoson Enterprises is a family-owned custom cabinetry and residential remodeling company with over 30 years of experience. We are known for our high-quality craftsmanship, organized job sites, and a team-oriented, respectful work environment.

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable carpenter who can work independently, take pride in their work, and contribute to a positive, productive job site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of residential projects and is comfortable guiding and mentoring apprentices as part of a growing team.

We specialize in kitchen and bath remodeling, as well as full home renovations and new construction projects.

Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
Pay Range: $20–$28+ per hour, depending on experience, workmanship, and leadership ability

Key Responsibilities

• Work independently and as part of a team on residential remodeling projects
• Perform and oversee tasks including demolition, framing, drywall, door and window installation, and finish carpentry
• Assist in training and mentoring apprentices on proper techniques and job site expectations
• Prepare and maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns promptly
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to keep projects running smoothly

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or residential remodeling
• Strong working knowledge of carpentry and general construction practices
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a variety of conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and consistent work ethic
• Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions when needed
• Ability to pass a drug screening
