Duties

• Safely operate CDL Class B roll-off trucks transporting waste or recyclable materials.
• Load and unload materials efficiently using mechanical knowledge of various truck types and lifting equipment.
• Perform routine safety inspections on vehicles before and after shifts to ensure compliance with all safety standards.
• Drive in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies, maintaining a clean driving record.
• Assist with manual lifting tasks when necessary to load or unload materials at job sites or disposal facilities.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance activities.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate daily routes and address any operational issues promptly.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B license with a clean driving record; experience operating roll-off trucks is essential.
• Proven experience as a commercial driver with delivery or waste collection background preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a daily basis.
• Skilled in driving roll-off vehicles; comfortable handling large equipment in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with load & unload procedures for different truck types including roll-off containers.
• Strong safety awareness with the ability to follow all safety protocols diligently.
