Position Overview

We are seeking an Experienced Classic Car Upholstery & Interior Specialist to join our production team. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in automotive upholstery, interior fabrication, and restoration craftsmanship. You will be responsible for designing, sewing, fitting, and installing premium interiors for our restomod and classic car projects.

This position requires a mastery of traditional and modern materials, attention to detail, and a deep appreciation for the artistry of vintage interiors.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, and install custom interiors for classic and restomod vehicles.
• Perform patterning, cutting, stitching, and fitting for seats, door panels, headliners, carpets, and dash components.
• Operate single and double stitch industrial sewing machines with precision and consistency.
• Work with materials such as leather, vinyl, suede, and modern composites.
• Collaborate closely with painters, assemblers, and fabricators to ensure visual and functional harmony across the build.
• Maintain organization of materials, patterns, and equipment in a clean, safe workspace.
• Uphold Uncle B’s House of Classics’ uncompromising standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in automotive upholstery, trimming, or interior restoration.
• Strong understanding of seat structure, foam sculpting, and fitting techniques.
• Proficiency operating single and double stitch industrial sewing machines.
• Experience with show-quality interior builds and restomod-level detailing.
• Ability to fabricate complete interiors from scratch or restore original patterns.
• Creative eye for design and material selection.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.
• Passion for classic cars and the art of restoration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,400.00 - $72,800.00 per year

Ability to Commute:

• Phoenix, AZ 85019 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Phoenix, AZ 85019: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
