Experienced Concrete Finisher

About the Role

Green Edge is a premier, family-owned concrete and home improvement company in Perrysburg. We are looking to connect with highly skilled Concrete Finishers.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven Experience: You aren't new to the mud. You have 3+ years of experience in residential or commercial finishing (driveways, patios, stamped concrete, etc.).
• Technical Skill: Proficient with hand tools, power trowels, screeding, and setting forms. Knowledge of decorative concrete/staining is a major plus.
• Eye for Detail: Mark (our owner) prides himself on perfection. We need finishers who treat every job like it's their own driveway.
• Reliability: You show up when the truck is loaded and the weather is right.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

• Do you possess a valid driver's license?
• Are you eligible for commercial fleet insurance?
• Do you own your own set of finishing hand tools (mag, sliders, edger, etc.)?
• Are you comfortable running a power trowel solo on a large pour?
• Have you worked with decorative stamps and antiquing agents in the last 12 months?
• Can you read a blueprint or site plan to determine pitch and drainage?
• Are you capable of setting forms and checking grade without constant supervision?
• Are you okay with a "zero-tolerance" policy regarding cell phone use while the mud is on the ground?
• Do you agree to a "clean site" policy, meaning no trash or debris is left behind at the end of the day?
• If the owner (Mark) asks you to re-edge a section to meet his standards, are you willing to do it without an attitude?
• Are you comfortable being the "face" of the company and speaking professionally to homeowners if they have a question?

Experience:

• Concrete finishing: 3 years (Required)
• Concrete forming: 3 years (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Required)
