Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee drinks, teas, and beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each cup meets quality standards.
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures.
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service while balancing multiple tasks seamlessly.
• Assist in food preparation and serving of baked goods or light snacks, ensuring freshness and presentation are inviting.
• Handle cash register operations with accuracy, including cashiering duties, basic math calculations, and cash handling procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Barista with a strong background in coffee preparation and food service.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling techniques, and basic math for transactions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining energy and enthusiasm throughout shifts.
