EXPERIENCED Creative Floral Designer

Alissa's Flowers is seeking a talented and experienced floral designer to join our team. We are looking for a creative, reliable individual with proven experience in a retail flower shop environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and creating a wide variety of floral arrangements, including everyday bouquets, custom orders, and specialized sympathy work.
• Working with customers to take orders over the phone and in-person.
• Processing and conditioning fresh flowers and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
• Assisting with other general flower shop duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of hands-on floral design experience in a real flower shop.
• Strong knowledge of floral care, design techniques, and fresh product handling.
• Experience with funeral and sympathy designs is a must.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, especially during busy holidays.
