Job Title: Experienced Childcare Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Teacher who has a genuine love and passion for working with children. The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, creative, and proactive, with a nurturing and caring personality and the ability to provide a structured, engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for all children
• Closely supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being
• Tend to children’s daily needs, including meals, hygiene, rest time, and emotional support
• Develop, plan, and implement a structured curriculum that supports early childhood development
• Create and lead age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth
• Follow and maintain a consistent daily schedule to provide structure and stability
• Think outside the box to design creative arts, crafts, and hands-on learning experiences
• Adapt curriculum and activities to meet the individual needs of each child
• Maintain a positive, organized, and well-managed classroom environment
• Take initiative and step in wherever needed to support the team and children
• Build and maintain positive relationships with children and parents
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff regarding progress and daily activities

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• HS Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education preferred
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate curriculum planning
• Patient, dependable, and highly energetic
• Loving, caring, and attentive to children’s needs
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging lesson plans and activities
• Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and staff
• Must be punctual and reliable, with consistent attendance
• Must pass a background check
• Willingness to complete all required DHS training and classes
• Must have reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to bend, lift, and move actively throughout the day
• Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Some overtime may be available

Compensation:

• Pay based on experience
