Simba Dental is seeking a Rockstar Dental Assistant to join our privately-owned multi-specialty dental group. This role focuses on supporting dentists to enhance clinical efficiency and patient experience in our brand-new state-of-the-art facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Our goal is to provide comprehensive oral health care and cosmetic dentistry services to people of all ages living in and around Fort Wayne, Indiana, and the surrounding suburbs. JOB DETAILS

Job Title: Experienced Dental Assistant

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22 - $30 per hour (EFDA commands higher pay)

Schedule: 4 days work week, Mon - Thu, 8 - 4 is typical. Some Fridays if absolutely needed

Expected Hours: 32 - 40 per week

Signing bonus: $500

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Establish a trusting positive rapport with all patients

- Keep rooms stocked and organized ready for next procedures

- Clean, sterilize, and prepare dental instruments for each patient

- Organize instruments and set up rooms for all procedure types

- Take radiographs including digital periapical X-rays and CBCT scans

- Perform lab duties including intraoral scans, model pouring, and whitening tray fabrication

- Assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry on all procedures

- Manage schedule coordination and clinical documentation accuracy

- After each patient, clean, sterilize operatory and instrumentation

- Perform expanded dental assistant functions as assigned

- Dentrix Ascend Cloud is our practice software

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Dental Assistant Certificate (mandatory)

- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience

- Certificate in Radiology (required)

- CPR / BLS certification (required)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certificate
