Experienced Dental Assistant (Certified/Registered) – Full Time

Overview

Philly Smiles is a privately owned general dentistry practice located in the heart of Rittenhouse Square in Center City Philadelphia. Our office combines modern dental technology with a welcoming, team-oriented environment focused on providing excellent patient care.

We are currently seeking a Highly Skilled Dental Assistant for a full-time role dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work in a friendly environment where your skills in chairside assisting, infection control, and dental procedures will make a meaningful difference.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working chairside, and has experience with Invisalign, Cerec same-day crowns, and cosmetic cases. Someone that enjoys being part of a collaborative team and is eager to continue learning and growing in a modern dental practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during general dentistry procedures
• Take digital radiographs in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations
• Prepare and break down operatories between patients
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
• Assist with charting and treatment documentation in Dentrix
• Maintain clean and organized clinical and sterilization areas
• Support lab-related tasks as needed
• Provide excellent patient care and help ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Registered or Certified Dental Assistant (required)
• Pennsylvania Radiology (X-ray) certification (required)
• CPR certification
• Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience preferred
• Experience with Dentrix software preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work Monday–Friday
• EFDA certification is a plus but not required
