Experienced Dental Assistant Needed - $21-$26/hr + Benefits! 4 days/wk

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a General Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a background in dental assistance with a minimum of two years of experience as a dental assistant. You will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the smooth operation of our practice and ensuring excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and aseptic conditions in the treatment areas and sterilization zone.
• Manage digital imaging processes and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients to provide information and reassurance.
• Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
• Stay updated on new dental techniques and technologies.
• Monitor patients during nitrous and sedation procedures.
• Learn and utilize Dentrix and Dexis software for efficient practice management.

Qualifications

• MINIMUN of 2 years of experience IN 4-Handed Dental Assisting in a dental clinic setting.
• Proficient knowledge of aseptic techniques, digital imaging, and HIPAA compliance.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with both patients and colleagues.
• Eagerness to learn new software systems (Dentrix and Dexis) if not already familiar.
• Willingness to learn new techniques (ex: sedation, nitrous, digital technology).
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in dental techniques.

The position offers competitive pay ranging from 21.00 to 26.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Looking to fill for the hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays (7:30 AM - 5:30 PM ), and Fridays ( 7:30 AM- 1:30 PM) but we can be flexible with some days, if less hours are wanted.
