Experienced Dermatology Medical Assistant

Miami Center for Dermatology is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our busy medical and cosmetic dermatology practice.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY if you do not have prior dermatology office experience.

We are specifically looking for someone with hands-on dermatology experience who can step into a fast-paced environment with minimal training. Cosmetic dermatology experience is highly preferred.

Requirements:

• Prior dermatology experience REQUIRED
• EMA experience PLUS
• Experience with both medical and cosmetic dermatology patients
• Experience assisting with biopsies, excisions, cosmetic procedures, and injections preferred
• Strong charting and documentation skills
• Ability to multitask and maintain patient flow efficiently
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

Responsibilities:

• Rooming patients and documenting in EMA
• Assisting providers with medical and cosmetic procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and instruments
• Patient education and post-procedure instructions
• Maintaining efficient patient flow throughout the day
• Assisting with skincare and cosmetic product recommendations when appropriate

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone experienced, proactive, and patient-focused who understands the pace and expectations of a high-volume dermatology practice. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with both medical and cosmetic patients while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining professionalism at all times.

Compensation:

We are willing to pay competitively for the right candidate with strong dermatology and cosmetic experience.
